A personal exhibition and two series: the characters and the MEDIC'ART. Mathias Z is the first to mix medicine and art in a free and intuitive way, by creating characters in part in skeleton, by being inspired by the anatomy then gives free to his imagination to move away from it. He willingly includes radiological images of his patients which he highlights with an LED light. His paintings do not seek to reproduce the anatomy as did Leonardo da Vinci at the time when medical imagery did not exist; but he recalls it in certain works and includes articular or skull segments in an artistic way. Some creations are inspired by neuroscience or artificial intelligence in an unpretentious, even funny style. He says he is the inventor of MEDIC'ART which is the use of the medicine he practices, as a pretext for artistic creation and not anatomical art.
