The painting was taken over by Mathias Z with his humorous style and a specific marker drawing. The characters are drawn with linear lines, stretched limbs and the scene has been rounded to make the effort feel good. The scene shows Jesus wrapped in a cloth allowing him to be carried, surrounded by usual characters from the sacred scene, in particular the weeping virgin on the right supported by the other Mary present. On the left and above, we see the entrance to the tomb where Christ is going to be buried.
